Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $46,331, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS's resale value?

The current average of $46,331 sits slightly below last year's $53,205.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future sellers if they buy at today’s lower entry point. If you plan to resell later, a lower purchase price can reduce the amount of value you need to recover. Strong demand for well-rated examples can also help support pricing when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $39,914, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $46,331 average.
• The 2022 stands out for its flagship-like luxury and strong electric range.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still brings many of the EQS strengths.
