About 2023 Maserati Ghibli
The 2023 Maserati Ghibli is an athletic midsize luxury sedan. It is offered with a selection of potent powertrains and dynamic handling. ## What’s New for the 2023 Maserati Ghibli The Maserati Ghibli is largely unchanged for the 2023 model year. It carries over from a number of 2022 changes, including a revised trim lineup and additional driver-assistance features. ## Design The Ghibli boasts dramatic Italian styling, including a large front grille flanked by menacing headlights. Though it’s a sedan, it boasts coupe-like styling and a strong rear-wheel-drive (RWD) presence. The Ghibli is available in GT, Modena, Modena Q4, and Trofeo trims. The GT comes with 18-inch wheels, while the Modena and Trofeo have 20-inch wheels. The Modena also has upgraded sport bumpers, while the Trofeo adds red-painted brake calipers. ## Powertrain The GT and Modena trims come equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. In the GT, it produces 345 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. In the Modena, it makes 424 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. The Ghibli Trofeo boasts a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 that makes 572 horsepower and 538 pound-feet. Each engine routes power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Modena Q4 routes power through all-wheel drive (AWD). A drive mode selector includes Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport, and Increased Control & Efficiency (ICE) modes. The Modena Q4 can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 178 mph. The range-topping Trofeo can sprint from zero to 60 in four seconds flat, on the way to a top speed of 203 mph. The V6 RWD variants of the Ghibli return fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 25 highway, and 20 combined. The Modena Q4 returns 17 mpg city, 25 highway, and 20 combined. ## Interior Standard features on the 2023 Ghibli include full leather upholstery and 12-way power-adjustable front seats. Available features include power-adjustable pedals, a heated leather steering wheel, a power rear sunshade, and even a pin-activated electronically locking glovebox. The Trofeo includes paddle shifters, sport seats, a sport steering wheel, and aluminum sport pedals. The Trofeo is available with carbon fiber interior trim. The Ghibli provides an impressive 18 cubic feet of trunk space. ## Technology No matter what trim you select, the Ghibli comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system itself is a visually altered version of Google’s Android Automotive setup, and it includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buyers can select from a 10-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium stereo setup. ## Safety Standard driver-assistance features for the 2023 Ghibli include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. ## Pricing At the time of this writing, base MSRP for the 2023 Maserati Ghibli is $85,300 for the GT. The Modena starts at $92,100, and the Modena Q4 starts at $94,800. The range-topping Trofeo trim starts at $122,000. The Maserati Ghibli is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty.
