What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s background and make sure the title and accident record are clean. Focus especially on overall condition and whether the features you want are actually included, since many desirable items are bundled into option packages.

• Deal availability: 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,548 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,753, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $37,818 sits slightly below last year's $39,316.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper short-term appreciation if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. A clean, well-maintained NX should still hold appeal because it combines luxury branding, broad powertrain choice, and strong dependability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,268, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $37,818 average.
• It brings a more tech-forward redesign with standard advanced safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer confidence, the 2023 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition with the features you want.
