Is the 2023 Jeep Renegade a good car?

With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2023 Jeep Renegade reliable?

For used buyers, that points to lower ownership-risk concerns than you might expect from a vehicle with weaker owner feedback, though you should still verify maintenance history and condition before you buy.

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on body condition, signs of prior repairs, and overall wear that could affect long-term value. If a listing looks especially clean, make sure the mechanical condition matches the cosmetic presentation before you move forward.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Renegade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,505 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,633, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Renegade's resale value?

The current average of $19,658 sits slightly below last year's $21,630.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters because it gives you more room to preserve value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Renegade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the primary path if you want a year with solid inventory, strong owner feedback, and a softer price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of this model year’s current market position.
