Is the 2023 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about outright reliability and more about finding one that has been well maintained and not worn down by age or heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title history, and service records. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior and technology, since owner feedback points to dated cabin design and lagging tech as common concerns. You should also pay close attention to overall condition, because a large luxury SUV can hide wear more easily than a smaller vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 INFINITI QX80?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a noticeable drop in prices.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 732 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,913, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $42,913 sits slightly below last year's $47,405.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. The current market also shows enough demand to keep the QX80 relevant, especially for shoppers who want a well-equipped full-size luxury SUV. If prices stay stable, a clean, well-kept example should remain easier to move than one with visible wear or a weak history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,695, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $42,913 average.
• It adds a meaningful technology update with a more modern infotainment setup.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of value, satisfaction, and inventory choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it delivers a lower entry price while still offering a well-equipped luxury SUV experience.
