Overview
The 2023 Infiniti QX55 is a dynamic luxury SUV with a coupe-like profile and standard all-wheel drive. The QX55 was introduced in 2022 as an all-new vehicle, and it carries over into 2023 largely unchanged. Due to its fastback roofline, its 54.1 cubic feet of cargo space is low for the class, but it’s on par with other “coupe-SUVs” like the BMW X4. With the rear seats in use, the QX55 provides 26.9 cubic feet of cargo space, accessed via a standard power rear liftgate. For 2023, Infiniti adds peace of mind in the form of complimentary support and additional safety tech. A number of features are also now standard equipment.
Trims for the QX55 are Luxe, Essential, and Sensory. The entry-level Luxe now comes standard with perforated leather upholstery, rear-seat USB-C charging ports, and LED cabin welcome lighting. This joins the existing list of standard equipment that includes 20-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, push-button start, a moonroof, heated front seats, five USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The QX55 also comes standard with a dual-touchscreen infotainment system. The lower screen controls many vehicle settings, including climate. The upper screen operates the entertainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Essential trim adds heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Moving to the range-topping Sensory trim adds a head-up display, a hands-free power liftgate, and tri-zone automatic climate control.
The QX55 comes equipped with a 2.0-liter variable-compression turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It makes 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This engine routes power through a continuously variable transmission with simulated “gears” that are operated via steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. All-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard on every trim of the QX55. This drivetrain returns fuel economy of 22 mpg city, 28 highway, and 25 combined. Premium fuel is recommended.
The QX55 comes with a host of modern driver assistance features, such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. For 2023, Infiniti has added ProPilot Assist as standard equipment, which includes smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality at all speeds. It can also follow the flow of traffic, including lane centering. Infiniti has also added blind-spot intervention for 2023.
Base MSRP for the 2023 Infiniti QX55 is $49,150 for Luxe AWD trim. An Essential AWD trim starts at $54,250, and the range-topping Sensory AWD starts at $57,800. The Infiniti QX55 is backed by a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty.

How much does the 2023 INFINITI QX55 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $29,967 |
| Year-Round Low | $29,967 |
| Year-Round High | $32,815 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $32,817 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.68% |

There are 461 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2023 INFINITI QX55 a good car?
The 2023 INFINITI QX55 is a moderate-market choice, and the available pricing suggests you can shop selectively without rushing. Its current average price of $29,967 also sits below the year-ago average, which supports a buyer-friendly setup.
With 39.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a solid chance of finding a competitive offer if you compare carefully.
What should I look for when buying a used 2023 INFINITI QX55?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the condition matches the listing. Focus on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any cosmetic or mechanical issues that could affect long-term ownership.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 INFINITI QX55?
This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be patient and still find a strong listing.
- Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 461 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.68% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 88.9% of listings are accident-free.

The current average of $29,967 sits slightly below last year's $32,817.
That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the softer trend means your eventual resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well you maintain the vehicle. A clean history and strong upkeep should matter more when the market is already leaning downward.
Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI QX55 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2023 if:
- 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.68% compared with last year.
Consider the 2022 if:
- At $25,555, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,967 average.
- The 2022 offers standard AWD and a well-equipped, upscale cabin.
The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the current-year market and a decent pool of competitively priced listings. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path and still brings a strong feature set.
