Used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V cost?

Prices have softened 9.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 282 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is aimed at you if you want a full-size luxury SUV that still feels genuinely quick and engaging to drive. The overview makes clear that it blends family-hauling and towing duties with brisk performance, while the expert review backs that up with strong marks for performance, form and function, and technology.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the expert review calls out poor fuel economy and a high starting price. If you value big power, space, and a comfortable driving position more than efficiency or affordability, this model year fits that brief well.

About 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert review describes the Escalade-V as a known quantity in the luxury SUV space, and it emphasizes that Cadillac paired the supercharged V8 with a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. It also notes that the vehicle is built for long hauls, with the kind of range and capability that suits towing, hauling, and extended highway use.

The performance writeup also points to a robust setup: a hand-built supercharged 6.2-liter V8, a 10-speed automatic, standard all-wheel drive, Magnetic Ride Control, Air Ride Adaptive suspension, and Brembo front brakes. That combination suggests a serious mechanical package, though the long-term ownership risk for used buyers is still tied to the complexity and cost of maintaining a high-performance luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a high-performance luxury SUV with a lot of technology and hardware. Focus on overall condition, service records, and whether the cabin electronics, driver-assistance systems, and suspension feel as they should during a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Escalade-V stands apart from the rest of the Escalade lineup with revised lower front and rear fascias, dark 22-inch wheels, and V badges. Inside, it adds the 38-inch curved OLED display, semi-Aniline premium leather upholstery, Zebra-wood inlays, heated and ventilated 16-way power-adjustable front seats, massage front seats, a 36-speaker stereo, rear-seat entertainment, and a panoramic sunroof.
• Powertrain: It uses an intercooled and supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission to standard all-wheel drive. The setup is tuned for strong acceleration, responsive handling, and serious towing ability.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, safety alert seat, lane-departure warning, HD surround-view parking monitor, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and Super Cruise with automatic lane change. The system still requires you to stay attentive.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 38-inch curved OLED display with a 16.9-inch touchscreen area, standard navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and a left-side touchscreen for trip computer, head-up display, night vision, and augmented-reality instrument panel functions.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA has not yet released fuel economy estimates for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, but the expert review notes an observed 15.5 mpg in an Escalade-V ESV and says the vehicle requires premium fuel.

Which 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V trim should I buy?

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is offered in 2 trim levels: Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV.

Here's the short version:

• Escalade-V: This is the better choice if you want the standard-wheelbase version of the Escalade-V experience with the full performance hardware, the curved OLED display, the 36-speaker audio system, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features. It delivers the core formula without stretching into the longer body style.
• Escalade-V ESV: Choose this if you want the same performance and luxury equipment but need the extra space of the longer body. The expert review notes that the ESV is heavier, but it also suits buyers who want maximum cargo and passenger room in a full-size luxury SUV.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, including Super Cruise, automatic lane change, and the other driver-assistance features listed above.

It looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 282 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $107,147, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V's resale value?

The current average of $107,147 sits slightly below last year's $118,701.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because this model combines strong performance with luxury and technology, well-kept examples should continue to attract interest from buyers who want something distinctive. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V safe?

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, an HD surround-view parking monitor, and Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system. The system also adds automatic lane change for 2023, and it continues to monitor driver attention.

The main caveat is that Super Cruise still requires you to remain vigilant, even though it can handle hands-free highway driving and even works while towing a trailer.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model year stands out for combining the Escalade’s size and utility with V-Series performance, plus Super Cruise automatic lane change and the curved OLED dash.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive version of this SUV’s formula, the 2023 is the one to target because it pairs big power, advanced tech, and strong safety equipment with a market that has softened from last year. If your priority is simply finding the lowest possible price, you may want to compare nearby years and shop whichever one gives you the best condition and equipment for the money.
