Used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V for Sale nearFort Wayne, IN

How much does the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V cost?

Prices have softened 9.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 299 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating and 8.17/10 expert rating point to a strong overall package. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The Escalade-V pairs family-hauling and towing duties with brisk acceleration and handling, and it does so from a comfortable seating position in a very large luxury SUV. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and a high starting price, so it makes the most sense if you want maximum capability and performance in a full-size luxury SUV rather than the lowest running costs.

Good and great deals account for 39.1% of listings, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Escalade-V is built around a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and a 10-speed automatic, and the expert notes emphasize that the setup delivers impressive acceleration while still supporting towing and long-haul use. The powertrain is backed by a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds some reassurance for used buyers.

The main long-term ownership risk is cost: premium fuel, poor fuel economy, and the complexity that comes with high-performance luxury hardware can make upkeep more expensive than on a standard full-size SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle this expensive and feature-rich. Focus on overall condition, because the Escalade-V combines high-performance hardware with a lot of luxury and technology equipment that you’ll want working properly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Escalade-V stands apart with revised lower front and rear fascias, unique dark 22-inch wheels, and V badges, while the cabin adds a 38-inch curved OLED display, semi-Aniline premium leather, Zebra-wood inlays, heated and ventilated 16-way power-adjustable front seats, massage front seats, a 36-speaker stereo, rear-seat entertainment, and a panoramic sunroof.
• Powertrain: It uses an intercooled and supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, routed through a 10-speed automatic to standard all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, HD surround-view parking monitor, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and Super Cruise hands-free driving with automatic lane change.
• Infotainment: The curved OLED setup includes a 16.9-inch main touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, standard navigation, and an additional left-side touchscreen for trip computer, head-up display, night vision, and augmented-reality instrument panel.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA has not yet released fuel economy estimates, but in testing the Escalade-V ESV averaged 15.5 mpg.

Which 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V trim should I buy?

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is offered in 2 trim levels: Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV.

Here's the short version:

• Escalade-V: This is the one to target if you want the standard-wheelbase version with the full performance-and-luxury formula, including the supercharged V8, standard AWD, the curved OLED display, the 36-speaker audio system, rear-seat entertainment, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features.
• Escalade-V ESV: Choose this if you want the longer body and more long-haul-friendly packaging, especially if rear cargo space and extended-road-trip utility matter more to you than keeping the footprint smaller.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, with Super Cruise, automatic lane change, and the rest of the standard driver-assistance suite included.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 299 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $107,679, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V's resale value?

The current average of $107,679 sits slightly below last year's $118,701.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are harder to count on in the near term. If you plan to sell later, the strongest protection against depreciation will be keeping mileage reasonable, preserving condition, and maintaining a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V safe?

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V earns 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, HD surround-view parking monitor, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and Super Cruise hands-free driving. The system also adds automatic lane change for 2023, and it still monitors driver attention closely.

That said, Super Cruise is still a driver-assistance system, not a substitute for staying alert, so you should treat it as a convenience and safety aid rather than full autonomy.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds automatic lane change to Super Cruise, which is a standout convenience feature for this year.

The bottom line: If you want the Escalade-V’s full performance-and-luxury formula, the 2023 is the right target because it combines strong tech, serious power, and a broad safety suite. If your priority is simply getting into an Escalade-V at the lowest possible price, you should shop carefully and compare listings, since the market still has enough inventory to reward patience.
