Should I buy a 2023 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,479, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $39,111 average.
• It emphasizes sporty driving dynamics with added everyday usefulness.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-oriented alternative, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
