A well-kept example should hold up better than one with visible wear or incomplete records.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi SQ8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.48% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a sensible choice if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent pool of listings to compare. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth a look, but the 2023 gives you a balanced mix of availability and value.
