You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no gaps in maintenance or signs of prior damage. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2023 Audi S5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $43,098 sits slightly below last year's $48,226.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell in the future. A lower current average can make today’s purchase more attractive, but it also means you should be realistic about near-term depreciation. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi S5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the benefits of this year’s broader deal availability and strong owner feedback.
