About 2023 Audi RS e-tron GT
The 2023 Audi RS e-tron GT is a low-slung, high-performance electric car that’s as fun and fast as it is visually stunning. The e-tron GT is based on the same electric vehicle (EV) platform as the Porsche Taycan, and the RS e-tron GT is the highest-performing version of Audi’s take on the electric car. The RS e-tron GT was introduced in 2022, and for the 2023 model year, it gets a price bump and some new features adding style and substance. The RS e-tron GT is offered in a single, well-equipped trim. It stands out visually from the rest of the e-tron GT lineup with unique styling elements, including carbon matte exterior inlays, 21-inch wheels, and carbon-ceramic brakes with Anthracite calipers. Standard features on the RS e-tron GT include leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, wireless device charging, an integrated toll module, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. The dash also comes outfitted with a fully digital instrument panel (Audi’s Virtual Cockpit) and a large 10.1-inch center touchscreen with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. The RS e-tron GT has the most potent powertrain in the e-tron GT family. It consists of an 83.7 kWh battery pack, two electric motors, and a dual-speed electronic transmission. This combination makes 590 horsepower, which can be temporarily boosted to 637 horsepower. When boosted, the car will sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, on the way to an electronically limited top speed of 156 mph. When not doing acceleration runs, the RS e-tron GT can travel up to 232 miles on a single charge. It supports DC fast charging, which means the battery can go from 5% to 80% charge in under 25 minutes. The RS e-tron GT features an adaptive air suspension, allowing for comfortable driving on long trips or a locked-down feel for performance driving. Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, vehicle exit warning, front and rear parking sensors, and traffic-sign recognition. Additional standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a 360-degree parking monitor, and a self-park assist for parallel and perpendicular parking spots. The 2023 Audi RS e-tron GT starts at $143,900 in its lone trim. That’s a jump of $4,000 over the 2022 edition of the high-performance EV. The Audi RS e-tron GT’s battery is backed by an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.
