If you find a listing below $32,164, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $32,164 sits slightly below last year's $36,297.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well today matters even more because your eventual resale value will depend heavily on how much room you have between purchase price and market average. Strong condition and a clean history should help you preserve more value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better pick if you want a year with strong owner satisfaction, a favorable price trend, and plenty of listings to compare. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may still want to compare nearby years, but the 2023 gives you a good balance of market value and inventory choice.
