That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you’ll be in a stronger position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better starting point if you want the strongest mix of price softness, deal availability, and owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it still makes sense to compare nearby years, but the 2023 stands out as the more compelling buy when you want a balanced value proposition.
