Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearNaples, FL

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 11.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,527 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable range of choices.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 4.3/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It stands out as a low-roofed SUV coupe, so you’re getting a more distinctive shape than a conventional utility vehicle. The overview also points to a powerful engine and impressive technology, which fit shoppers who want a premium SUV with a dramatic profile and modern features.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may not suit everyone, advanced safety features are not standard, and it is described as poor value for money. That makes it a better fit if you prioritize style and equipment over maximum utility.

With 36.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview presents it as a premium SUV with strong technology and a broad appeal for buyers who want refinement. The expert notes also emphasize that the vehicle’s systems are refined and accurate in real-world use, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership.

Its performance content describes a robust powertrain with EQ Boost, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system designed to add extra power when you need it and otherwise help the SUV conserve fuel. That kind of setup points to a sophisticated drivetrain rather than a bare-bones one.

Mercedes also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years, which can help reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the coupe’s complexity and premium hardware can make repairs and upkeep more expensive than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has been optioned heavily. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s premium features and coupe body style can make wear, repairs, and prior damage more expensive to sort out later.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is described as sumptuous, with high-end materials, dual screens, and a high-tech appearance, but the base setup does not include every safety system Mercedes offers.
• Powertrain: It uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with EQ Boost, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that adds extra power when needed and helps conserve fuel.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds 15 additional systems related to driver support and collision avoidance, including Traffic Jam Assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, Active Lane Change Assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.
• Infotainment: MBUX is standard with dual 12.3-inch screens, navigation, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Mercedes Me connected services, wireless smartphone charging, and a Burmester surround-sound audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the test vehicle should have returned 19 mpg in combined driving, and the test result was 18.5 mpg.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 3 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, AMG GLE 53.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point if you want the GLE’s core luxury, tech, and coupe styling without moving up the price ladder. It makes the most sense if you want the look and features first, and can live without the extra performance hardware.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger all-around balance of power and equipment. It sits between the base model and the AMG version, so it should suit you if you want more capability without jumping all the way to the top performance trim.
• AMG GLE 53: This is the choice if you want the most performance-focused version, with the strongest engine and the most aggressive hardware. It suits you best if driving excitement matters more than value.

The safety package note is simple: if you want every safety system Mercedes offers for this SUV, you’ll want the Driver Assistance Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,527 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,026, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $40,030 sits slightly below last year's $45,041.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper future resale gains if you own it for only a short time. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The coupe body style and premium equipment can help it stand out, but resale will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well it was maintained. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is based on the standard GLE, which gets top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Mercedes equips it with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and Pre Safe Sound, which emits a “pink noise” tone just before a collision. The Emergency Call Service is also included and remains available as long as you own the vehicle.

If you want every safety system Mercedes offers for this SUV, you’ll want the Driver Assistance Package. It adds 15 additional systems related to driver support and collision avoidance, including Traffic Jam Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist. The package also brings adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

One caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to confirm whether a used example has the package you want.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines a distinctive coupe shape with strong technology and a powerful engine.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,723, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $40,030 average.
• It leans heavily into comfort and technology with a premium interior.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,371, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,030 average.
• It adds a subtle refresh and an updated infotainment system.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2022 if you want the coupe styling, strong tech, and a softer used-market price than newer models. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer refresh and can spend more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
