How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2022 GLC is positioned as a compact luxury SUV that blends style, practicality, and a more modern cabin, while also adding Mercedes-Benz’s latest tech and powertrains. It is also well equipped, with standard wireless device charging, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, MB-Tex upholstery, LED headlights, and driver-assistance features. 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2022 GLC’s overview also notes that Mercedes-Benz’s reliability record is not especially strong, so you should balance its upscale features and broad powertrain lineup against the possibility of higher ownership risk over time. For used buyers, that means a careful pre-purchase inspection and service-history review matter more than usual.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition. Because this model leans heavily on advanced tech and luxury equipment, you want to make sure every feature works as intended before you buy. Pay close attention to maintenance records and signs of wear, since condition and upkeep matter a lot on a premium SUV like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,427 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,633, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $28,633 sits slightly below last year's $32,232.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than broad market appreciation. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still attract attention, especially if they present cleanly and have strong service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,583, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,633 average.
• It emphasizes upscale comfort and advanced tech with broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,183, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $28,633 average.
• It adds a more refined cabin and a comfort-first feel.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want the newer tech and updated feel without jumping to the higher-priced 2023. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find a well-kept example with the right equipment.
