Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for Sale nearEl Paso, TX

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Prices have softened 10.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,965 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable range of choices.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall appeal for used-car shoppers. The redesigned model moves the nameplate upmarket with S-Class-inspired styling and a cabin that aims for a more premium feel than its entry-level roots suggest. It also gives you standard rear-wheel drive, optional 4Matic all-wheel drive, and a clear trim spread, so you can shop for the configuration that fits your priorities.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the transmission can be irritating, and performance is described as sluggish. If you want a luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, design, and a polished tech experience more than sharp acceleration, this one fits that brief well.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2022 C-Class is positioned as a premium sedan with a refined cabin, standard rear-wheel drive, and available all-wheel drive, and the expert review highlights a well-executed luxury feel rather than a stripped-down entry model. Its powertrain also uses a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which adds electric assist in short bursts and helps modernize the driving experience.

Mercedes also includes a four-year, 50,000-mile basic warranty and a four-year, 50,000-mile powertrain warranty, which helps support early ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s upscale tech and complex systems can make upkeep more demanding than a simpler sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan with advanced electronics and driver-assistance systems. Focus on overall condition, how the transmission behaves on a test drive, and whether the tech and safety features work as expected. If the car has optional equipment, make sure it matches the listing and that nothing important is missing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premium trim gets the 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 11.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard LED lighting, while higher trims add features like the Burmester 3D surround-sound system, head-up display, and augmented-reality navigation. The base setup is already well equipped, but the upper trims add more of the luxury-car polish.
• Powertrain: The C300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower, 295 pound-feet of torque, a nine-speed automatic, and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. Mercedes also says the electric motor can contribute up to 20 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque in short bursts.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound. Optional features include lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, a 360-degree camera system, dashcam, park assist, and two levels of Distronic adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: The C-Class uses an MBUX setup with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system also supports over-the-air-style convenience through its layered interface and voice controls.
• Fuel efficiency: The C300 is rated at 29 mpg combined, 25 mpg city, and 35 mpg highway with rear-wheel drive, or 27 mpg combined, 27 mpg city, and 33 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the best-value choice if you want the core C-Class experience without stretching too far. You still get the 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 11.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lighting, and the upscale cabin design that defines the car.
• Exclusive: This trim is the middle ground if you want more luxury without going all the way to the top. It builds on the standard equipment with a richer feature mix and is the logical step up if you want more comfort and convenience without chasing every available option.
• Pinnacle: Choose this if you want the most fully loaded version of the C-Class. It adds the head-up display and augmented-reality navigation system, making it the best fit if you value the most advanced tech presentation.

Standard safety equipment already includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,965 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,854, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $29,854 sits slightly below last year's $33,449.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if depreciation continues at the same pace. For a seller, the current trend points to a market that is still active, but not especially strong on price retention. Well-equipped examples with desirable options and clean history should hold up better than stripped or heavily used ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class safe?

The 2022 Mercedes C-Class does get an array of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)—many of them as standard equipment. Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound, while optional features include lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, a 360-degree camera system, dashcam, park assist, and two levels of Distronic adaptive cruise control. The basic version includes a stop-and-go function that can resume after stopping for up to three seconds, and Active Distance Assist Distronic extends that time limit to 30 seconds.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Crash-test ratings from IIHS and NHTSA were not available at the time of publication, so you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and the specific options fitted to the car you’re considering. The 2021 C-Class earned an IIHS Top Safety Pick+, but that result does not automatically carry over to this redesigned model.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned model moves the C-Class upmarket with S-Class-inspired styling, a premium-feeling cabin, and a strong tech presentation.

The bottom line: If you want the newest redesign with the most upscale presentation and a solid mix of inventory and pricing, the 2022 is the primary path to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years to see whether a lower purchase price outweighs the newer model’s updated design and tech.
