Used 2022 INFINITI QX80 for Sale near Nevada

How much does the 2022 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 9.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 690 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 INFINITI QX80 earns a 4.33/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating, which points to a solid overall showing for shoppers who want a large luxury SUV with a strong feature set. The model’s 2022 refresh centers on a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, navigation with lane guidance, connected services, a wireless charger, a Bose audio system, and intelligent cruise control.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

That said, the expert notes also point to a cramped third row and an interior that is not competitive for the class, so you should weigh the up-front tech and value against cabin space and overall polish. If you want a full-size luxury SUV that emphasizes equipment and comfort up front, the QX80 fits that use case better than buyers who prioritize maximum interior room.

35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80’s appeal here comes from its straightforward V8 powertrain and its familiar, body-on-frame foundation, which can be reassuring if you prefer a traditional large SUV layout. The expert notes describe the engine as robust and smooth, with seamless shifting from the automatic transmission and strong towing capability, all of which support a durable-feeling ownership experience.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a strong warranty-backed value proposition, which helps offset some of the model’s age. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the QX80’s older design may age less gracefully in cabin tech and packaging than newer rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example. Focus your inspection on interior condition, third-row usability, and whether the tech and safety features work as expected, since those are the areas most likely to shape your day-to-day satisfaction.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Luxe trim gives you the core QX80 experience with the new 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with lane-departure prevention, and a 13-speaker Bose system. Premium Select adds 22-inch dark chrome wheels and dark chrome exterior accents, while Sensory brings quilted semi-aniline leather seats, advanced climate control, heated and cooled front seats, a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series system, and the body motion-control system. The base trim is the value play if you want the refresh without paying for appearance or comfort upgrades.
• Powertrain: The QX80 uses a 400-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 with 413 lb-ft of torque and a seven-speed automatic transmission. It delivers strong, smooth power and can be paired with available 4WD, which adds low-range capability for tougher terrain.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with lane-departure prevention, forward-collision warning, backup collision intervention, a smart rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, driver attention alert, front knee airbags, and second-row seat belt pre-tensioners. The standard safety content is a meaningful strength, especially on the lower trims.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch display with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation with lane guidance, voice recognition, and Infiniti InTouch connected services. A wireless smartphone charger is standard, and the Bose audio system is standard as well.
• Fuel efficiency: The QX80 returns 14 mpg city/20 highway/16 combined in 2WD form and 13/19/15 mpg with 4WD.

Which 2022 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2022 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxe, Premium Select, and Sensory.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the best-value trim if you want the refreshed tech and standard safety gear without stretching the budget. You still get the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and the 13-speaker Bose system.
• Premium Select: Choose this if you want a more upscale look, since it adds 22-inch dark chrome wheels and dark chrome exterior accents. It makes the QX80 feel dressier, but the core equipment story is still strongest at Luxe.
• Sensory: This is the trim to buy if you want the most comfort and the richest cabin presentation. The quilted semi-aniline leather, heated and cooled front seats, advanced climate control, 17-speaker Bose audio, and body motion-control system make it the most luxurious version.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, with standard driver-assistance features on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 INFINITI QX80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 690 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,030, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $36,030 sits slightly below last year's $39,720.

That decline suggests the QX80 has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. For a seller, the current market shows that buyers are still willing to pay for the model’s standard equipment and luxury positioning, but they are also price-sensitive. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the vehicle well, you should be in a better position to preserve value than someone who buys high and sells into a softer market.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The 2022 Infiniti QX80 earns three-star rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with lane-departure prevention, forward-collision warning, backup collision intervention, a smart rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, driver attention alert, front knee airbags, and second-row seat belt pre-tensioners. That’s a strong standard list for a large luxury SUV, especially at the lower trim levels.

The main caveat is that NHTSA has only published the rollover result for this model year, and IIHS has not rated it. That leaves less independent crash-test coverage than many shoppers may want, so you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and your own inspection of the vehicle’s condition.

Should I buy a 2022 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 adds a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and a wireless charger.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,466, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $36,030 average.
• It offers old-school toughness with body-on-frame construction and available low-range 4WD.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped QX80 with the 2022 tech refresh, this is the year to target. If your priority is spending less and you’re comfortable giving up the newer infotainment setup, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly path.
