Used 2022 INFINITI QX55 for Sale near Maryland

How much does the 2022 INFINITI QX55 cost?

Prices have softened 13.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 453 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX55 a good car?

Generally — 4.33/5 from users and 7.33/10 from experts, the 2022 INFINITI QX55 is a style-first luxury crossover with a luxuriously appointed, driver-centric cabin and standard all-wheel drive. The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

That combination makes it appealing if you want a premium crossover that feels well equipped right away, rather than one that needs a long options list to feel complete. The trade-off is that it does not have much cargo space, so the dramatic design comes with a practical compromise.

The 47.7% share of good or great deals suggests there are still plenty of competitively priced listings to consider.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX55 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX55’s standard VC-Turbo powertrain is designed to adapt compression ratio for power or efficiency, and the transmission is described as smooth with no CVT droning. That points to a powertrain that feels refined in daily use rather than rough or overly busy.

Its standard safety and connectivity equipment also suggests a well-rounded ownership experience, and the available maintenance and ownership conveniences on higher trims add to the appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the vehicle’s coupe-like packaging and premium features fit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 INFINITI QX55?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully for prior damage, title issues, and service history before you commit. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a premium crossover like this, where you want to confirm that the cabin, electronics, and safety systems are all working as intended. Pay close attention to overall condition, because the QX55’s value proposition depends heavily on its standard equipment and upscale presentation.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe trim brings the core QX55 formula with standard all-wheel drive, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a panoramic moonroof, and a broad set of safety-related driver aids. Essential adds leather seats, a heated steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats, navigation, and a premium audio system, while Sensory layers on semi-aniline leather, a motion-activated rear liftgate, tri-zone climate control, and more advanced driver-assistance and lighting features.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses the VC-Turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a CVT and paddle shifters, rated at 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The engine’s variable-compression design is meant to balance power and efficiency, and the CVT is described as smooth rather than droning.
• Safety package: ProPilot Assist combines adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane-centering assistance. Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot warning, predictive forward-collision warning, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic rear braking. Blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, and traffic sign recognition are optional on Essential and standard on Sensory.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses Infiniti InTouch dual displays with 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower touchscreens. Wireless Apple CarPlay is standard, Android Auto is wired, and the system includes connected services plus a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: All trim levels return 22 mpg city/28 highway/25 combined.

Which 2022 INFINITI QX55 trim should I buy?

The 2022 INFINITI QX55 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxe, Essential, and Sensory.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the best-value starting point if you want the QX55’s core appeal without stretching the budget. You still get standard all-wheel drive, the VC-Turbo engine, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a panoramic moonroof, and a strong safety feature set.
• Essential: This is the trim to target if you want the most balanced upgrade. It adds leather seats, heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, navigation, an Around View Monitor, and the 16-speaker Bose audio system, making it the sweet spot for many shoppers.
• Sensory: Choose this if you want the most upscale QX55 experience. It adds semi-aniline leather, a motion-activated rear liftgate, tri-zone climate control, direct adaptive steering, head-up display, and ProPilot Assist.

Optional safety equipment on Essential becomes standard on Sensory, so that trim is the easiest way to get the fullest safety and convenience package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 INFINITI QX55?

It looks like a buyer-friendly moment, with pricing and inventory both giving you room to shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 47.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 453 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,141, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 INFINITI QX55's resale value?

The current average of $26,141 sits slightly below last year's $30,142.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing momentum has softened, so condition and equipment will matter more when it comes time to list the vehicle. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still stand out better than average ones.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 INFINITI QX55 safe?

The 2022 QX55 earns five-star ratings for frontal crash protection from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The QX55 comes with a strong standard safety suite that includes blind-spot warning, predictive forward-collision warning, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic rear braking, automatic collision notification, emergency call, a rear-view monitor, hill-start assist, and high-beam assist. ProPilot Assist adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane-centering assistance, while blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, and traffic sign recognition are available on higher trims or standard on Sensory.

One caveat is that rear visibility is compromised by the sloping rear roofline, and the lane-departure warning system is described as somewhat oversensitive.

Should I buy a 2022 INFINITI QX55 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 47.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 model stands out for its standard all-wheel drive, VC-Turbo engine, and strong standard safety and connectivity equipment.

The bottom line: The 2022 QX55 makes the most sense if you want the distinctive styling, standard AWD, and well-equipped feel of this model year at a softer price than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the current market gives you a decent chance to find a strong deal, but you should still prioritize condition and equipment because the best examples will hold their appeal better than the rest.
