What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Insight?

At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car's condition matches the listing. Focus on signs of prior bodywork, uneven wear, and any issues that could affect long-term reliability or comfort. If you want features like heated seats, check the trim carefully so you don't end up paying more than you expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Insight?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.66% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Honda Insight's resale value?

The current average of $20,623 sits slightly below last year's $20,972.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, the current pricing trend implies you should expect steady but not especially strong appreciation. A well-kept example with clean history should still be easier to move than one with prior damage or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
