Is the 2022 Ford Transit Connect a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating suggests you can feel reasonably confident if this model fits your needs. That score points to solid owner satisfaction without overstating it, so it makes sense to compare condition, mileage, and pricing carefully. 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Ford Transit Connect reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that means reliability risk looks manageable, but you should still focus on maintenance history and overall wear because ownership costs can rise if the van has been worked hard.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Transit Connect?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the van closely for signs of commercial use, cargo-area wear, and uneven maintenance. Pay extra attention to body condition, interior durability, and any evidence that the vehicle has been heavily loaded or frequently used for work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Transit Connect?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 809 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,633, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Transit Connect's resale value?

The current average of $19,633 sits slightly below last year's $22,863.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your future value will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage. A clean history and strong upkeep matter more when the market has already moved lower.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 makes sense if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent amount of clean inventory to choose from. If you’re focused on value, this is the primary year to target; if you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping listings carefully and compare condition closely before deciding.
