If you find a listing below $57,757, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV's resale value?

The current average of $57,757 sits slightly below last year's $64,439. That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face more price pressure if values continue to soften. Because this model sits in a luxury segment where condition, equipment, and history matter a lot, well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $51,811, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $57,757 average.
• It emphasizes spaciousness and technology, with a notably upscale, high-tech cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer satisfaction, the 2022 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the smarter secondary path and still delivers the Escalade ESV’s core strengths.
