Should I buy a 2022 BMW M8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $82,371, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $75,633 average.
• It adds Competition-only spec and a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the stronger value play and a broader pool of listings to compare. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer model’s updates, the 2023 makes sense; otherwise, the 2022 is the better buy for price-sensitive shoppers.
