How much does the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe cost?

There are 205 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe a good car?

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe earns an 7.17/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe stands out as an unexpectedly practical Porsche that still leans hard into style and driving enjoyment. It is aimed at you if you care as much about what Porsche engineers have done underneath the bodywork as you do about the badge on the hood. For shoppers who want a luxury SUV with a more distinctive look and a more engaging personality, that combination is a major part of its appeal.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not a value play, and it is hampered by poor visibility and poor fuel economy. Those drawbacks matter most if you want a luxury SUV that is easy to live with every day rather than one that prioritizes style and driving character.

There are 29.8% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you can still find some attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe reliable?

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe is presented as a high-end performance SUV with strong engineering under the skin, and the expert evaluation emphasizes its competence, handling, and overall execution. The overview also makes clear that you are paying for style, performance, and pedigree rather than bargain pricing.

The performance write-up highlights a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, standard all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, all of which point to a robust and highly developed mechanical package. It also notes that the ceramic brakes performed flawlessly during testing.

On the ownership side, the cost-effectiveness discussion reinforces that Porsche ownership tends to come with expensive options and a premium price structure, even if the coupe body style itself does not require a major compromise versus the SUV version.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you are stepping into a complex, expensive-to-own performance SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing the lowest sticker price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on wear items, electronics, and any signs that the car has been driven hard or modified. Pay close attention to visibility-related equipment and the condition of the wheels, brakes, and suspension if the car has performance-oriented options.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Cayenne Coupe lineup includes a standard model with a turbocharged V6, a Cayenne S Coupe with a twin-turbo V6, Cayenne GTS and Turbo Coupes with twin-turbo V8 engines, plus two hybrid variants. The GTS stands out for its 453-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8, dual-mode sports exhaust system, adaptive damping suspension, and blacked-out exterior details, while the test vehicle’s package also added lightweight and chassis-focused upgrades.
• Powertrain: The GTS uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with 453 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. It also includes Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual modes, plus surface settings for Gravel, Mud, Sand, and Rocks.
• Safety package: Standard driver aids include forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. InnoDrive is not standard and is part of an Assistance Package that also includes a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Night Vision Assist.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management, plus standard wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, Porsche Connect Plus, cloud-based navigation, Voice Pilot natural voice recognition, and a WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle averaged 17.6 mpg on the evaluation loop, and the official EPA fuel economy rating is 17 mpg.

Which 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe trim should I buy?

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe is offered in 6 trim levels: Cayenne, Cayenne S Coupe, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo Coupe, Cayenne E-Hybrid, and Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Cayenne: This is the entry point if you want the coupe body style and Porsche design without moving up to the more expensive performance-focused versions. It gives you the core Cayenne Coupe experience, but the broader lineup makes clear that the higher trims are where the more distinctive powertrain and chassis upgrades live.
• Cayenne S Coupe: This trim adds a twin-turbo V6 and sits between the standard model and the V8-powered versions, making it the logical step if you want more performance without jumping all the way to the GTS or Turbo Coupe.
• Cayenne GTS: This is the best-value pick if you want the strongest blend of performance and equipment. It brings the 453-horsepower twin-turbo V8, adaptive air suspension, sport exhaust, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and the expert evaluation specifically highlights it as the model for buyers who care most about what Porsche does underneath the bodywork.
• Cayenne Turbo Coupe: This is the more powerful V8 option above the GTS, so it suits you if you want maximum performance and are willing to pay for it.
• Cayenne E-Hybrid: This is the hybrid choice in the lineup, so it makes sense if you want electrified powertrain content rather than the standard gasoline setup.
• Turbo S E-Hybrid: This is the top hybrid performance model, aimed at buyers who want the most expensive and most powerful hybrid version in the range.

The safety content notes that InnoDrive is part of an optional Assistance Package, so if you want adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, and traffic-jam assistance, you should look for a vehicle equipped with that package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 205 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,125, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe's resale value?

The current average of $51,579 sits slightly below last year's $57,509.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current softness means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Because the model sits in a premium performance segment, well-kept examples with desirable options should hold up better than neglected ones. If you are buying now, the lower average price gives you a better entry point than a year ago, but you should still expect depreciation to remain a factor.

Is the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe safe?

The 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes with standard forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. Porsche also adds lane-change assistance with rear turn assistance and a surround-view camera.

The safety content notes that InnoDrive is not standard on the test vehicle and is bundled into an Assistance Package that also includes a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Night Vision Assist. It also points out that visibility to the rear is poor, which makes the camera especially useful.

Should I buy a 2021 Porsche Cayenne Coupe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.31% compared with last year.
• The 2021 stands out for its style, improved handling, and V8 power, while still appealing to buyers who want a more distinctive Porsche SUV coupe.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, performance, and current market softness, the 2021 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully within this year’s listings and focus on the cleanest, best-equipped example you can find.
