How much does the 2021 Nissan Frontier cost?

There are 1,320 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2021 Nissan Frontier a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Nissan Frontier earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth and quiet ride, good value, and decent towing capability, and many also like its spaciousness and handling for outdoor use. In practical terms, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a midsize pickup that balances utility and everyday livability. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2021 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck people can count on for a smooth, quiet ride and dependable everyday use. That said, some drivers mention transmission behavior, so used buyers should pay close attention to how the truck drives and shifts over time. For long-term ownership, that means a careful test drive and inspection matter more than usual.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Nissan Frontier?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report so you can confirm accident status and spot any title or ownership issues. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the transmission behavior, since some owners have criticized how smoothly it shifts. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and signs of hard use, especially if you plan to rely on the truck for towing or outdoor activities.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Nissan Frontier?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,320 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,433, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $22,297 sits slightly below last year's $22,656.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the price movement is not dramatic, so a well-kept truck should still hold reasonable appeal. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,544, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,297 average.
• It offers a simpler, older-school truck feel with added off-road usefulness.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,151, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $22,297 average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin and updated tech.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your budget is tighter, the 2020 can save you money, while the 2022 makes sense if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more.
