Used 2021 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearMemphis, TN

How much does the 2021 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 12.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 471 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

With a 3.8/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, the 2021 INFINITI QX80 looks strongest if you want a traditional full-size luxury SUV rather than a modern, efficiency-focused one. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners commonly praise the comfortable ride, luxurious cabin, and refined interior, and they also like the improved features. The main trade-offs are the lack of included entertainment options in lower trims and some cosmetic issues in certain vehicles.

The QX80’s body-on-frame layout and available four-wheel drive fit its use case as a big, comfort-first luxury SUV with a rugged edge. That makes it a better match for you if you value space, premium materials, and a relaxed driving experience more than sharp handling or efficiency.

36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

The 2021 INFINITI QX80 is built around a truck-like foundation, and that can appeal if you want a durable-feeling full-size SUV. Owners describe it as comfortable and refined, and they often point to a smooth driving experience and a luxurious cabin.

The owner feedback also leans toward dependable long-term comfort, with many buyers appreciating the QX80’s upscale feel and improved features. Infiniti’s warranty coverage includes a four-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year, 70,000-mile powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, complex luxury SUV can become expensive to keep in top shape if prior maintenance was neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper history review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large luxury SUV where wear items and cosmetic condition can vary a lot from one example to the next. Focus on how well the cabin, electronics, and ride quality have held up.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe trim rides on 20-inch wheels, while Premium Select and Sensory move up to 22-inch wheels. The cabin uses leather upholstery, with perforated semi-aniline leather on Sensory models, and lower trims may leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: Every model uses a 5.6-liter V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available for buyers who want the added traction and capability.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and Backup Collision Intervention. These features are standard rather than optional, which is a plus if you want a well-equipped safety suite.
• Infotainment: You get dual touchscreens measuring 8.0 inches up top and 7.0 inches below, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a built-in WiFi hotspot, navigation, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system. Optional upgrades include a 17-speaker Bose system and a rear-seat entertainment package.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 16 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 15 mpg combined with four-wheel drive. City and highway figures are 14 mpg city/20 mpg highway for rear-wheel drive and 13 mpg city/19 mpg highway for four-wheel drive.

Which 2021 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2021 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxe, Premium Select, and Sensory.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core QX80 experience with the standard V8, leather upholstery, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the larger wheels and extra luxury touches.
• Premium Select: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale look and feel without jumping all the way to the top trim. The 22-inch wheels help it feel more premium, and it sits in the middle of the lineup where the equipment balance is strongest.
• Sensory: This is the most luxurious version, with perforated semi-aniline leather, 22-inch wheels, and standard Hydraulic Body Motion Control. It suits you if you want the richest cabin and the most polished driving feel.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 INFINITI QX80?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, where you can find value if you shop carefully and compare condition closely.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 471 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,861, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $28,861 sits slightly below last year's $32,996.

That price drop suggests the QX80 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means sellers may face more competition when they list one. If you own one, condition and equipment level matter more now because the market is rewarding cleaner examples and better-equipped trims.

For a future seller, the softer pricing trend means you should expect buyers to be selective. A well-kept QX80 with strong history and desirable equipment should hold up better than one with visible wear or missing features.

Is the 2021 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The 2021 Infiniti QX80 earns a four-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in side crash tests, four-star ratings in frontal crash tests, and a three-star rollover rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and Backup Collision Intervention. That is a strong standard list for the class, especially because Infiniti makes these features standard rather than reserving them for higher trims.

The main caveat is the three-star rollover result, which is worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2021 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.
• It adds a refreshed mirror and a reshuffled trim lineup.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,478, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $28,861 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and capability with a more luxurious feel.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,468, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $28,861 average.
• It adds a larger display and more modern tech.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the right middle ground if you want the updated trim structure and a softer used price than newer models. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020 is the value play; if you want newer tech, the 2022 is the upgrade path.
