Used 2021 Audi A4 for Sale near Washington

How much does the 2021 Audi A4 cost?

Prices have softened 9.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 352 listings available, which suggests a modest but workable amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2021 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2021 Audi A4 stands out as a compact luxury sedan that blends strong technology, available all-wheel drive, and a well-rounded driving character. By this model year, it had the more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a mild-hybrid drivetrain, which gives it more punch than the base version. You also get the appeal of Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive, plus the brand’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display for a more modern cabin experience.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a premium sedan with useful tech and a balanced driving feel rather than a purely sporty or purely comfort-first setup. 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2021 Audi A4’s appeal comes from its mature, well-rounded package: useful technology, available quattro traction, and a stronger powertrain than the base version. It also benefits from a broader equipment list that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a rearview camera, and Audi Drive Select, with higher trims adding more convenience and safety tech.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car has been maintained properly and hasn’t been compromised by prior damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi A4?

At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden body, suspension, or electronics issues. Focus closely on overall condition, since a premium sedan like this can be expensive to refresh if previous repairs or wear were overlooked.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 352 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 73.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,145, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $21,145 sits slightly below last year's $23,264.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment than it would be in a rising market. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still draw attention, but you may need to price competitively to stand out.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,811, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $21,145 average.
• It feels fresher and more modern overall.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2021 is the stronger buy because it combines a lower average price with solid satisfaction and a meaningful share of deal-priced listings. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling alternative, the 2022 is the better secondary path.
