How much does the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.79/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners most often praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also like the luxury features and advanced technology. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a three-row SUV with family-friendly space and useful capability. With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with strong performance, a smooth ride, and a spacious cabin that many drivers continue to value over time. That said, some shoppers note missing features and a third row that can be less comfortable for adults, so your long-term ownership experience will depend on finding one that has been well cared for and matches your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and mechanical condition, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership, since condition matters more when a meaningful share of the market has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 959 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,223, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $15,223 sits slightly below last year's $18,026.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce your depreciation exposure if you keep the vehicle in strong condition. Demand should also be helped by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and practical three-row appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Pathfinder makes the most sense if you want a roomy, family-oriented three-row SUV and you can verify condition carefully. If price is your top priority, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge on the lot.
