How much does the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.79/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also like the luxury features and advanced technology. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a practical three-row SUV with family-friendly versatility and useful everyday capability. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many drivers, especially those who value the Pathfinder’s strong performance and roomy cabin. That kind of long-term confidence matters when you’re shopping used, because it suggests the vehicle can be a solid choice if it has been maintained well. For you, the main ownership risk is less about the model’s overall appeal and more about finding a used example with a clean history and consistent upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and mechanical condition, since accident history can affect long-term value and ownership confidence. It also helps to focus on how the SUV drives and whether the cabin features and seating condition match what you expect from a family vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay selective.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 931 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,240, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $15,246 sits slightly below last year's $18,009.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you buy now and plan to sell later. If the market stays steady, a lower entry price can reduce the amount you lose to depreciation over your ownership period. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2020 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can widen your search to nearby years, but the 2020 stands out as a balanced choice when you want a roomy, family-oriented SUV with a favorable pricing backdrop.
