Used 2020 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearKnoxville, TN

How much does the 2020 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 15.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 638 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 INFINITI QX80 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

The QX80 stands out as a more luxurious take on the Nissan Armada, with premium accommodations that help it feel a step above its similarly sized sibling. For you, that means a large SUV that leans into comfort and presence rather than chasing the latest tech trends.

Its powerful engine and comfortable ride are major draws, but it is also held back by outdated technology and poor fuel economy. Those trade-offs matter most if you want a luxury SUV that feels modern in its interface and efficient at the pump.

36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80’s appeal comes from its premium accommodations, strong capability, and comfortable ride, all of which support a durable, easy-to-live-with ownership experience. Its powerful V8 and smooth-shifting automatic transmission also point to a straightforward mechanical setup.

The engine is described as handling the SUV’s weight well, and the ride is tuned to stay composed over rough pavement while keeping the vehicle level when towing. Infiniti also backs the QX80 with a four-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that its age and fuel inefficiency can make ownership less appealing if you want lower running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

At 69.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the equipment and trim level match the seller’s description.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The QX80 is sold in just two trim levels, Luxe and Limited. The cabin is upscale and attractive, but some trim pieces are not up to par with other SUVs in its class, and Limited models get matte silver and open-pore Ash wood trim.
• Powertrain: All QX80s use a 5.6-liter V8 with a seven-speed automatic transmission and 400 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive is available on Luxe, four-wheel drive is available on Luxe, and Limited comes standard with 4WD.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist are available.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes an 8-inch upper infotainment touch screen and a 7.0-inch lower touch screen, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, keyless entry, remote start, tri-zone climate control, a moonroof, a CD player, and four USB ports. You can upgrade to two 8.0-inch displays, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a WiFi hot spot.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel drive version gets 14 mpg in the city, 20 mpg on the highway, and 16 mpg combined. The four-wheel drive version gets 13 mpg in the city, 19 mpg on the highway, and 15 mpg combined.

Which 2020 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2020 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 2 trim levels: Luxe and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the trim to target if you want the best value, because it gives you the core QX80 experience with the standard luxury and convenience features, plus the choice of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. It also keeps the price lower than Limited while still giving you the full-size SUV comfort and capability that define the model.
• Limited: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the QX80, including the higher-end trim treatment and standard 4WD. It suits you best if you care more about premium presentation than value.

The QX80’s safety package is solid, but it is still an older model without all the newest driver-assistance features found in newer luxury SUVs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop with a clear target and be ready to move on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 638 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.53% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,772, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $21,791 sits slightly below last year's $25,797.

That decline suggests the QX80 has become more affordable for used buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium. If you own one, pricing it competitively will matter more than relying on brand prestige alone.

The good news is that the model’s strong comfort, capability, and luxury positioning still give it appeal among shoppers who want a large premium SUV. That helps support demand, even if its age and fuel economy limit how quickly values can climb.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The Infiniti QX80 earns good scores in the moderate overlap front and side crash tests from IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. You can add blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist.

The QX80 is an older model, so it does not have all the newest driver-assist features many other luxury SUVs offer. The available safety tech is respectable, but you should not expect the most advanced suite in the class.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs premium accommodations with strong capability and a comfortable ride.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $20,556, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $21,791 average.
• It remains a plush, old-school luxury SUV with a traditional feel.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,482, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $21,791 average.
• It adds a reshuffled trim lineup and improved rearview mirror tech.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and luxury, the 2020 is the primary path to consider. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2019 can save you money while keeping the same basic formula.
