Used 2020 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2020 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 14.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 655 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 INFINITI QX80 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It stands out as a more luxurious take on the Nissan Armada, with premium accommodations that help it feel a step above its similarly sized sibling. For you, that means a large SUV that leans into comfort and presence rather than chasing the latest tech trends.

The trade-offs are clear: outdated technology and poor fuel economy. Even so, its powerful engine and comfortable ride make it a strong fit if you value luxury and capability more than efficiency.

37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80 is built around a proven, old-school formula, and the expert notes point to a powertrain that can handle the SUV’s weight without drama. Its transmission shifts relatively smoothly, and the rear auto-leveling suspension helps it ride comfortably while also supporting towing.

The QX80 also comes with a four-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds some ownership reassurance.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that age-related wear and outdated hardware can matter more than mileage alone, so condition should carry extra weight in your decision.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

At 70.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Focus on signs of prior body damage, uneven panel gaps, worn interior trim, and any evidence that the SUV has been used hard or poorly maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The QX80 is sold in just two trim levels: Luxe and Limited. The cabin is generally attractive and filled with soft-touch materials, but some trim pieces aren’t up to the standard of other SUVs in this class. Limited-grade models get matte silver and open-pore Ash wood trim, while the base trim is the one to scrutinize most closely for feature gaps.
• Powertrain: All QX80s use a 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is available on Luxe, four-wheel drive is available on Luxe, and Limited comes standard with 4WD. The SUV is capable on sand, mud, slippery climbs, and dirt trails, especially with the right tires and an experienced driver.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. Available upgrades include blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes an 8-inch upper touch screen and a 7.0-inch lower touch screen, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, keyless entry, remote start, tri-zone climate control, a moonroof, a CD player, and four USB ports. You can also look for the available dual 8.0-inch displays, rear-seat entertainment, and WiFi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive model is rated at 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined, while the four-wheel-drive model is rated at 13 mpg city, 19 mpg highway, and 15 mpg combined.

Which 2020 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2020 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 2 trim levels: Luxe and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the value play if you want the QX80’s core strengths without jumping to the pricier top trim. It gives you the V8, the standard tech suite, and the comfort-focused setup that defines the model, while still letting you choose rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
• Limited: This is the better pick if you want the most upscale version of the QX80 and are willing to pay for it. It adds a more premium presentation, standard 4WD, and matte silver and open-pore Ash wood trim, making it the right choice if you want the most luxurious feel in the lineup.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some driver-assistance features remain optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 655 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 70.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,390, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $22,392 sits slightly below last year's $26,306.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than broad market momentum alone.

Because the QX80 is a premium SUV with a loyal audience, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The Infiniti QX80 earns Good scores in the IIHS moderate overlap front and side crash tests, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rates it as having better crashworthiness from the side than the front and a moderate risk of a rollover during a crash.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. You can add blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist.

One caveat is that this is an older model, so it does not have all the newer driver-assistance features found in many rival luxury SUVs.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 70.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a refreshed, more premium cabin with strong towing ability and a comfortable ride.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,167, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,392 average.
• It remains plush and spacious, with traditional luxury appeal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,570, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,392 average.
• It adds a reshuffled lineup and updated off-road-oriented hardware.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the right middle ground if you want the best balance of price, luxury, and capability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2019 is the cheaper route; if you want newer updates and can spend more, the 2021 is the step-up choice.
