Used 2020 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearCleveland, OH

How much does the 2020 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 15.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 655 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 INFINITI QX80 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It’s aimed at you if you want a large SUV that emphasizes comfort and a premium feel, with luxurious accommodations and a fresh face. The powerful engine and comfortable ride are the core strengths.

The trade-offs are clear: outdated technology and poor fuel economy hold it back. That means you’re getting a relaxed, well-appointed full-size luxury SUV, but not one that feels especially modern or efficient.

The market shows 34.7% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there’s room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80’s appeal centers on its comfortable ride, premium cabin, and straightforward capability, which are all traits that can support dependable day-to-day ownership when you keep up with maintenance. Its powertrain is described as capable of handling the SUV’s weight, and the ride quality is tuned for comfort rather than stress.

The engine is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV is built to handle towing and rougher surfaces without drama. Infiniti also backs the QX80 with a four-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear and outdated tech can make a neglected example feel expensive to live with.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a full-size luxury SUV where repairs can be costly. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the cabin and electronics still feel well cared for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The QX80 is sold in two trim levels: Luxe and Limited. The Limited adds matte silver and open-pore Ash wood trim, while the cabin overall is attractive but some trim pieces aren’t up to the standard of other luxury SUVs in this class.
• Powertrain: Every QX80 uses a 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. It’s capable and smooth enough for a heavy SUV, but the transmission can feel clunky when downshifting.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. Available upgrades include blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes an 8-inch upper touch screen and a 7.0-inch lower touch screen, plus Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and Bluetooth. You can upgrade to two 8.0-inch displays, and the system is functional but not especially modern.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive model is rated at 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined, while the four-wheel-drive version returns 13 mpg city, 19 mpg highway, and 15 mpg combined. It takes premium unleaded fuel, and fuel economy is one of its biggest weaknesses.

Which 2020 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2020 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 2 trim levels: Luxe and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the better-value choice if you want the QX80’s core strengths without jumping to the pricier top trim. It gives you the powerful V8, the comfortable ride, the standard dual-screen infotainment setup, and the full suite of standard safety tech, while still letting you choose rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
• Limited: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale presentation, including the added interior trim treatment and the more premium feel that comes with the top grade. It also comes standard with four-wheel drive.

The standard safety package is strong for the class, but this is still an older SUV, so you should verify which driver-assistance features are included on the specific listing you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI QX80?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 655 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,464, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $22,478 sits slightly below last year's $26,445.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the QX80 is a luxury SUV with a premium badge and strong comfort appeal, well-kept examples should still attract shoppers who want a large, traditional SUV. But the age of the design and its fuel economy can limit how quickly value rebounds.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The Infiniti QX80 earns good scores in the moderate overlap front and side crash tests from IIHS, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it has better crashworthiness from the side than the front and a moderate risk of rollover during a crash.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and automatic collision notification. Available driver aids include blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, distance-control assist, and lane-keep assist.

Because this is an older model, it doesn’t have all the newer driver-assistance features found in many rivals, so you should confirm the exact equipment on any used listing.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a powerful V8 with a comfortable ride and a refreshed, more luxurious cabin.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,062, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,478 average.
• It offers plush comfort and old-school luxury appeal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $28,861, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,478 average.
• It adds small updates and a reshuffled trim lineup with a more rugged luxury focus.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, comfort, and luxury feel, the 2020 is the primary path to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2019 can save you money, while the 2021 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer-year updates.
