About 2020 Audi e-tron
Overview

Audi introduced the e-tron crossover in 2019 as a kickoff for its all-electric range of vehicles. For 2020, the all-new e-tron Sportback joins it. The e-tron Sportback takes all of the regular e-tron’s muscular goodness and enhances it with a coupe roofline. Audi still promises it has room for 5 people and their cargo.
The e-tron Sportback packs exactly the same powertrain as the regular e-tron. It consists of dual electric motors—one on each axle—that combine to create 355 horsepower and 414 pound-feet of torque, plus standard all-wheel drive (AWD). With a 95.3-kilowatt-hour battery onboard, it charges in about 8.5 hours using a standard Level 1 charger, and it achieves an 80% charge in 30 minutes with a 150-kilowatt DC fast-charger. Official range isn’t available as of this writing, but the regular e-tron lasts 204 miles between recharges, so expect something similar on the e-tron Sportback.
Much of the e-tron Sportback’s interior is lifted out of its squared-off counterpart, including the dual-screen MMI touchscreen infotainment systems. These pair with Amazon Alexa, creating out-of-the-box support for Amazon home-device connectivity.
