This year, Rolls-Royce introduces the limited edition Black Badge Adamas, an exclusive production run with just 40 of these fastback-styled coupes made. The Wraith’s svelte exterior features smooth flanks, a wide stance, and bold front and rear ends. The 20-inch alloy wheels come standard – and with a palette of 44,000 colors available, the Wraith can be painted in any color combination imaginable. While Black Badge models get exclusive carbon fiber wheels and a black Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, Adamas models up the ante with an exclusive black grille surround and a special carbon fiber edition of the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. Rolls-Royce powers the rear-wheel drive Wraith with a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is good for 624 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The Wraith is EPA-rated for 12 mpg city, 18 highway, and 14 combined. The Wraith seats four passengers in opulent bucket seats, which can be upholstered in an array of colors and customized with contrast stitching and piping and hand-embroidered monograms. Heated and ventilated front seats are available. Buyers can choose a hand-finished wood veneer for the dashboard, doors, and other surfaces, and can add a fixed glass roof. The new 2019 Adamas collection offers exclusive interior features such as the Rolls-Royce Starlight Headliner with a new color gradation, the choice of two-tone blue-black or red-black upholstery complemented by pearl leather, a clock surrounded by 88 black diamonds, and illuminated door sill plates with the special edition model name. The Wraith’s infotainment system features dial and touchpad controls, and includes navigation, AM/FM radio, HD Radio, satellite radio, and a CD player with MP3 compatibility. The Bespoke Audio system, with 18 speakers, is optional. The Wraith does not offer Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have not conducted crash testing on the 2019 Wraith. The Wraith includes a reversing camera, adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, night vision with pedestrian detection, a head-up display, and lane-departure warning. Though the Wraith has largely carried over from year to year since its introduction, the level of customization offered by Rolls-Royce ensures that nearly every Wraith is unique.
