The new-for-2019 LE, or Limited Edition, adds 15-inch black alloy wheels, heated front seats, and red interior accents. It also adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a shift knob with red accents, and black side mirrors. The range-topping GT adds some visual flair with 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels and HID automatic on-off headlights. The Mirage comes with stability control, a tire-pressure monitoring system, an engine-immobilizer theft deterrent system, and Mitsubishi’s crash cell construction. The Mirage is backed by a fully transferable 5-year, 60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, and an impressive 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the Mirage 4 stars overall. There was a time when subcompact cars meant serious compromise.
