You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both value and future repair risk. What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar's resale value?

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible to used buyers, which can help demand in the near term but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of preserving value. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it's time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,745, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,622 average.
• It offers a sportier, pavement-focused luxury-SUV identity.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,635, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,622 average.
• It adds a performance-focused special edition to the lineup.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best fit if you want the strongest balance of price, satisfaction, and current market availability. If you're more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the better value path, while the 2020 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer model-year option.
