Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to solid owner satisfaction for this model year. Drivers commonly praise its powerful performance, luxurious features, comfort, and smooth ride, which fits a premium SUV that blends on-road refinement with serious all-weather capability. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a high-end midsize SUV with strong performance and a lavish cabin rather than a purely practical commuter. With 37.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable ownership experience for many drivers, with positive comments centered on comfort, performance, and overall satisfaction. At the same time, used shoppers should pay close attention to maintenance and condition, since those are recurring concerns in owner feedback. For you, the main long-term risk is buying a neglected example, so service history matters as much as mileage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

At 74.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to maintenance records, wear items, and overall condition. Because this model can be expensive to own, a clean, well-documented example is usually the safer buy.

What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $25,181 sits slightly below last year's $29,826.

That decline suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you purchase a clean example with strong records, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to the prior-year average. The key for you is to avoid overpaying now, because resale value is strongest when your entry price is disciplined.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,642, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $25,181 average.
• It adds plug-in hybrid efficiency while keeping the Range Rover Sport's premium, capable character.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the lower entry price and are willing to shop carefully for condition. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer electrified setup, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
