Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

It’s a roomy and comfortable luxury SUV with polished presence, genuine off-road ability, and a well-equipped cabin that includes an eight-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and available seating for four, five, or seven. Is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2019 Range Rover is described as a complex vehicle with a reputation for high maintenance costs and reliability that can be hard to predict, even though it delivers luxury and capability in a distinctive package. That means the ownership experience can be rewarding, but used buyers should expect higher long-term risk if maintenance history is incomplete or deferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.1% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on electrical systems, infotainment operation, and any signs of expensive maintenance neglect. Pay close attention to overall condition, service records, and whether the vehicle has been consistently cared for, since complexity can make hidden issues costly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Land Rover Range Rover?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $28,919, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $28,919 sits slightly below last year's $34,370. That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that condition and documentation matter even more when the broader market is softer. A well-kept example with strong service history should stand out more clearly than one with gaps in maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,296, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,919 average.
• It adds incremental infotainment and safety updates.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model with incremental updates, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
