Why it stands out
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a versatile midsize SUV that excels both on and off the road, making it a compelling choice for adventurers and families alike. It boasts a robust lineup of engines, starting with a 295-horsepower V6 and extending to a formidable 707-horsepower supercharged V8 in the Trackhawk model. This allows for impressive towing capabilities and performance that can be tailored to a driver’s needs. In addition, the Grand Cherokee offers a spacious interior with ample technology, including the intuitive Uconnect infotainment system, which integrates seamlessly with smartphones through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Also notable is the Grand Cherokee's range of trim levels, from the well-equipped Laredo to the luxurious Summit and sporty Trackhawk, allowing for a broad appeal across different buyer preferences. However, it's worth noting that while the Grand Cherokee offers a smooth ride, it has received some criticism for its safety ratings and fuel efficiency, which remain areas for potential improvement. Nevertheless, its rugged design, expansive feature set, and multi-terrain capabilities set it apart in the competitive SUV market.
