Used 2019 INFINITI QX80 for Sale near Ohio

How much does the 2019 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 13.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 652 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 INFINITI QX80 earns a 4.62/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, luxurious features, spacious interior, and stylish design. In use, that lines up with the QX80’s role as a full-size luxury SUV for you if you want comfort, presence, and strong towing capability more than cutting-edge tech.

The market also shows 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for its smooth ride, strong performance, and comfortable cabin. The expert evaluation also emphasizes the QX80’s rugged body-on-frame construction and its ability to handle heavy-duty use, which supports the sense that it’s built for long-term ownership.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about whether you’re comfortable living with its age, fuel costs, and premium ownership expenses.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 INFINITI QX80?

At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually strong. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin and electronics still feel consistent with the asking price. Because this is a large, older luxury SUV, condition matters a lot more than mileage alone.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Luxe trim is the entry point, while the Limited adds a more upscale appearance and interior treatment. The Limited brings two-tone 22-inch rims, unique gray metallic paint, stainless steel running boards, and a special black-and-white cabin with microsuede inserts, wavy stitching, and more soft-touch leather. If you want the richest-feeling version, the Limited is the one to target.
• Powertrain: The QX80 uses a 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic and a low-range transfer case. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Luxe, while selectable 4-wheel drive is optional on the Luxe and standard on the Limited. It’s built for strong towing and relaxed highway power rather than efficiency.
• Safety package: Forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection comes standard. Lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring are optional. That means you should check carefully for the driver-assistance features you want, especially on lower-spec listings.
• Infotainment: The system uses a touchscreen controlled by a rotary knob, but the display is small and dated. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are missing, and the tech suite is limited for a luxury SUV at this price. The rear entertainment system can accept USB and HDMI inputs, and the rear-view mirror can show a live camera feed overlay.
• Fuel efficiency: The QX80 is rated at 13 mpg city, 19 highway, and 15 combined with 4WD, or 14/20/16 with RWD. In testing, it averaged 15 mpg over 580 miles.

Which 2019 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2019 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 2 trim levels: Luxe and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Luxe: This is the trim to start with if you want the QX80’s core strengths without paying top-dollar. It gives you the standard rear-wheel-drive setup, with selectable 4WD available if you need it. It’s the better-value choice for most shoppers because it captures the SUV’s towing ability, V8 power, and luxury presence without pushing into the Limited’s steep price territory.
• Limited: This is the trim for you if you want the most lavish version and don’t mind paying for it. It adds the two-tone 22-inch wheels, unique paint, stainless steel running boards, and the special black-and-white interior treatment with microsuede and upgraded trim details. It feels richest inside, but the price premium is substantial.

Forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection comes standard, while lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring are optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 INFINITI QX80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 652 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,062, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $21,062 sits slightly below last year's $24,365.

That decline suggests the QX80 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. For you as a seller later, the key will be how well the vehicle is maintained and how clean its history is, since those factors matter more when the market is already discounting age and technology. A well-kept example should still appeal to buyers who want a large luxury SUV with strong towing ability and a premium badge.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 INFINITI QX80 safe?

The 2019 INFINITI QX80 earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in all other NHTSA tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection comes standard, while lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring are optional. That means you should look closely at the exact equipment on any used listing, because some important driver-assistance features are not standard.

The main caveat is the weaker frontal crash performance, which is worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority for your purchase.

Should I buy a 2019 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2019 brings a more lavish and pricier setup, with the Limited trim adding a richer interior and appearance package.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,478, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,062 average.
• It offers a more clearly differentiated luxury feel and a fresh face.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2019 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and the model still delivers the QX80’s core strengths. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling presentation, the 2020 is the cleaner upgrade path, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on well-kept 2019 listings with strong history reports.
