CarGurus Analysis: 2019 INFINITI Q50
Summary
With 595 currently listed for sale and an average price of $18,313, 28.6% of 2019 INFINITI Q50 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2019 INFINITI Q50 4.82 / 5 stars.
51.6% of 2019 INFINITI Q50 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2019 INFINITI Q50 stands out as a midsize premium sedan that leans on a strong mix of power, equipment, and value. It was part of a long-running first generation that changed relatively little over time, and that consistency is part of its appeal for buyers who want a luxury sedan without a constantly shifting formula. The Q50’s standard seven-speed automatic transmission and available rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive help it fit the traditional premium-sedan mold, while its reputation for generous standard equipment gives it an edge over more sparsely equipped rivals.
For 2019, the Q50 also benefited from a broader equipment push that made it feel more competitive. Forward Emergency Braking and Predictive Forward Collision Warning became standard across the range from the 2019 model year onwards, and owners often praise the car’s performance, luxurious interior, and good value for money. At the same time, the Q50’s age shows in places, and the infotainment system is a common weak point. Fuel economy is another limitation, since even the hybrid was not especially efficient, and the model range remained relatively limited compared with some competitors.
What makes the 2019 INFINITI Q50 especially distinctive is that it offers a lot of substance without trying to reinvent itself. Buyers get a sedan with strong engine choices, a well-equipped cabin, and a premium feel that many owners still appreciate, but they also need to accept that some of its technology and overall design were already starting to feel dated by this point.

Love this car. The 400 HP turbo has all the giddy up and go you will ever need. Prettiest exterior or any car in its class. Interior is well appointed without being over the top. Performance and handling on par with midrange Panamera at a third of its cost.

How much does the 2019 INFINITI Q50 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $18,289 |
| Year-Round Low | $18,289 |
| Year-Round High | $19,969 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $19,960 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.37% |
Prices have softened 8.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 590 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2019 INFINITI Q50 a good car?
Yes — the 2019 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.82/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its impressive performance, luxurious interior, and good value for money, and many also like the powerful engine and handling. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a midsize premium sedan with a traditional luxury feel, generous equipment, and a value-oriented setup. With 28.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2019 INFINITI Q50 reliable?
Owners rate it 4.82/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to performance and overall dependability. The recurring praise for its strong engine and satisfying driving experience suggests you can count on it to deliver the kind of ownership experience many shoppers want from a premium sedan. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core appeal and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t accumulated hidden wear.
What should I look for when buying a used 2019 INFINITI Q50?
At 51.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork consistency, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs. Because condition can vary widely in a market with mixed history, focus on the specific car’s maintenance and cosmetic condition rather than assuming all listings are similar.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 INFINITI Q50?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.
- Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 590 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.37% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 51.7% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $18,289, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 INFINITI Q50's resale value?
The current average of $18,289 sits slightly below last year's $19,960.
That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and premium-sedan appeal.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.82/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 51.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.37% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong pick if you want a well-equipped premium sedan with solid owner approval and a more favorable price than it had a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 stands out as the better balance of value, equipment, and buyer confidence for most shoppers.
