The Ferrari GTC4Lusso is an all-wheel drive (AWD) performance hatchback coupe and carries into 2019 with no notable updates. It competes with vehicles like the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera.

The GTC4Lusso, with its elongated hood, wide stance, pronounced fender haunches, and formal roofline, is equal parts elegant and sinister. It’s also extremely practical. It’s the only car in the brand’s stable with room for more than two people, with four cocoon-like bucket seats and 15.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats.

Ferrari graces the GTC4Lusso with its largest engine to date, a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine putting out a 680 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque, mounted at the front of the car. Interestingly, the GTC4Lusso actually uses separate transmissions on the front and rear axles. The dominant rear axle uses a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), while the secondary front axle uses a 2-speed automatic unit that decouples when necessary. You’ll hit 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, and reach a top track speed of 208 mph. You can expect 12 mpg city, 17 highway, and 13 combined.

Every GTC4Lusso comes with a large LCD touchscreen, ample amounts of leather, dual-zone automatic climate control, and navigation. Naturally, there’s a host of options, including a panoramic roof, a passenger LCD display, and a choice of 28 exterior colors, four wheel choices, five brake-caliper hues, three exhaust finishes, three grille designs, 15 interior colors, three seat options, and five instrument-panel dial colors.

The GTC4Lusso is the most recent in a long series of grand-tourer Ferraris and addresses the needs of those who want the brand’s classic driving dynamics in a comfortable package. Besides, who else would build a V12-powered four-seat hatchback but Ferrari?
