Why it stands out
The 2019 Chevrolet Equinox is designed to offer a comfortable driving experience with its smooth ride and spacious interior, making it a popular choice among compact SUV buyers. This model year saw significant upgrades from its predecessor, including the addition of HD rear-view and surround-view cameras which enhance visibility—a notable improvement given the previous model's limitations in this area. Drivers appreciate the powerful engine options, with a standout being the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 252 horsepower, effectively balancing performance and efficiency. However, some users have expressed concerns over missing features at lower trim levels and minor inconveniences like manual passenger seats, indicating there’s room for improvement in providing more value across different trims. Overall, the Equinox stands out for its appealing mix of capabilities, technology, and safety features, catering well to families and individuals alike.
