How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,037 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 4.78/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, powerful performance, safety features, and smooth ride, while also noting the high cost of upgrades. That fits a full-size luxury SUV buyer who wants a spacious, upscale vehicle with strong presence and capability. With 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights luxury, comfort, and powerful performance, but it also mentions serious reliability issues. That means you should treat long-term ownership risk as a real consideration and verify maintenance history carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of prior collision work, then make sure the cabin electronics and comfort features operate as expected. Because this model is a large luxury SUV, you should also pay close attention to overall wear, since repair costs can rise quickly if condition is uneven.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,037 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,387, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $30,387 sits slightly below last year's $34,034.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive on condition, mileage, and equipment to stand out. Strong presentation and a clean history matter more when the market is already pricing the model below its prior-year level.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should choose the 2019 if you want the Escalade’s luxury, comfort, and strong owner satisfaction at a softer price than last year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 is the better fit when you want a well-equipped full-size luxury SUV and can be selective about condition and history.
