How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade cost?

Prices have softened 10.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 988 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Cadillac Escalade earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, and powerful performance, and many also highlight its safety features and smooth ride. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a premium cabin and a commanding road presence. With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to the Escalade as comfortable and powerful, with many drivers describing it as a vehicle they enjoy living with over time. At the same time, some owners report serious reliability issues, so used buyers should treat condition and maintenance history as especially important. For long-term ownership, that means you should be selective and verify how the vehicle has been cared for before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

At 66% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and pay close attention to any accident records, title issues, or repeated repairs. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, electronics, suspension behavior, and signs of wear that could be expensive to address on a luxury SUV. Because this model is large and upscale, you should also make sure the interior, features, and overall condition match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 988 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,250, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

The current average of $30,251 sits slightly below last year's $33,904.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also means you should be realistic about future depreciation. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you may be better positioned when it comes time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should buy the 2019 if you want a full-size luxury SUV with strong owner satisfaction and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry price, but the 2019 is the better pick when you want a balance of value, demand, and owner approval.
