Used 2019 BMW X5 for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2019 BMW X5 cost?

Prices have softened 11.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,835 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and equipment.

Is the 2019 BMW X5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 BMW X5 earns a 4.56/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its strong performance, comfort, and luxury features, and the review summary also points to sleek design and advanced technology as recurring positives. For you, that means this X5 fits best if you want a midsize luxury SUV that emphasizes driving enjoyment and a premium feel while still offering useful everyday utility. Even so, the tech is not the class leader, so if your priorities lean heavily toward the newest interfaces and most advanced systems, you may want to compare carefully.

The market also looks healthy, with 41.1% of listings classified as good or great deals.

Is the 2019 BMW X5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a generally positive ownership experience, and it also flags concerns about electrical issues and the limited size of the back seat. That mix suggests you can count on the X5 for a satisfying driving experience, but you should still pay close attention to electronics and overall condition when shopping used. BMW’s smooth powertrain and well-regarded transmission also support the impression of a dependable daily driver, and the available maintenance-friendly ownership experience can help reduce hassle if the vehicle has been cared for properly.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that repair costs can rise quickly if prior owners skipped maintenance or if electrical problems have already started to surface.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 BMW X5?

At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or incomplete service records. Focus on body condition, panel alignment, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the electronics operate cleanly, since those are the kinds of issues that can turn a good-looking listing into an expensive ownership problem. If the seller can document regular maintenance and clean repair history, that should carry real weight in your decision.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base xDrive40i already includes all-wheel drive, adaptive LED headlights and foglights, a panoramic sunroof, an adaptive suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, faux-leather upholstery with heated front seats, a power liftgate, ambient lighting, and a digital gauge cluster with a 12.3-inch secondary touchscreen. The M Sport design package adds 20-inch wheels, an adaptive M suspension tune, an M steering wheel and aero kit, upgraded leather, four-zone climate control, keyless entry, satellite radio, and roof rails.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder in the xDrive40i or a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 in the xDrive50i. The 8-speed automatic is a major strength, and the inline-six is described as smooth, responsive, and efficient, with EPA-estimated 20 mpg city, 26 highway, and 22 combined.
• Safety package: The standard safety suite includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert. The Driving Assistance Plus package adds limited hands-off driving, lane centering, lane changes, and Extended Traffic Jam Assistant, but the expert review strongly suggests leaving that package off your order list.
• Infotainment: The X5 uses an updated iDrive system with a 12.3-inch secondary touchscreen. Gesture control is included with the Premium Package, along with enhanced USB and Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-view camera with 3D view, and automatic parallel parking via Parking Assistant Plus.
• Fuel efficiency: The inline-six returns EPA-estimated 20 mpg city, 26 highway, and 22 combined.

Which 2019 BMW X5 trim should I buy?

The 2019 BMW X5 is offered in 2 trim levels: xDrive40i, xDrive50i.

Here's the short version:

• xDrive40i: This is the best-value choice because it already gives you the core X5 experience: strong turbocharged inline-six power, standard all-wheel drive, a well-regarded 8-speed automatic, and a long list of comfort and safety equipment. If you want the most balanced version of the X5 without pushing the price too high, this is the one to start with.
• xDrive50i: Choose this if you want the V8 and are willing to pay for substantially more power and a richer standard equipment set, including upgraded multi-contour front seats with real leather upholstery and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon stereo. It makes sense if performance matters more to you than value.

The standard safety suite is already strong on the xDrive40i, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get meaningful driver-assistance coverage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW X5?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, especially if you are comparing listings carefully and moving quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 41.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,835 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,898, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW X5's resale value?

The current average of $24,901 sits slightly below last year's $28,226.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment because the broader price trend has softened. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still attract interest, but you should expect the market to reward clean history and strong presentation more than simply owning the badge.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 BMW X5 safe?

The 2019 BMW X5 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and four-star ratings overall from NHTSA, with four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover tests and five-star ratings in side crash tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety suite includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert. That gives you a strong baseline even before optional driver-assistance features. One caveat is that the available Driving Assistance Plus package is described as frustrating and potentially safety-compromising at speed, so you should be cautious about relying on it as a reason to buy.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW X5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 41.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2019 model year brings an all-new redesign with more room, improved power, a modernized interior, and a strong expert rating.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned X5 with strong performance, a premium cabin, and a market that currently favors buyers, the 2019 is a smart target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully for the cleanest, best-equipped example and use the softened pricing to your advantage.
