At the same time, some owners worry that the high-tech features could lead to expensive repairs later, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance history and the condition of the electronics.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A4?

At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear in the cabin, electronics, and any areas tied to prior damage. Focus on overall condition and documentation, since this model’s premium features can be costly if they need repair.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2019 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $17,550 sits slightly below last year's $19,387.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong point in the range. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter even more because buyers tend to reward well-kept examples when the broader market is softening. A clean history and strong maintenance records can help you stand out when it is time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a smart choice if you want a well-liked A4 with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-cost example offers similar equipment and condition for less money.
