Is the 2019 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights the car as reliable, dependable, and trouble-free enough to inspire confidence over the long term. That said, some owners worry that the high-tech features could lead to expensive repairs later, so used buyers should weigh ownership risk against the car’s strong reputation and inspect condition carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A4?

At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the electronics, infotainment, and other high-tech systems that owners say can be costly if they fail. It also makes sense to pay close attention to overall condition, since accident history and repair quality can matter a lot on a luxury sedan like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,600, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $17,600 sits slightly below last year's $19,354.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the model has a strong reputation with shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a well-rounded luxury sedan with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price than last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
