How much does the 2018 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 1.49% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,769 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and condition.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 2018 Toyota Corolla earns a 4.2/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great gas mileage, reliability, and ease of driving, and they also like its value and comfortable interior. That fits a car built for practical daily use, especially if you want a straightforward compact car that emphasizes low running costs over flash. With 31.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable, and they also highlight its trouble-free ownership, dependable nature, and long-term appeal. The feedback lines up with the Corolla’s reputation for being easy to count on and inexpensive to live with. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about dramatic mechanical drama and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

At 45.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has any accident record. Focus on condition details that matter in everyday use, including signs of uneven wear, interior wear, and evidence of poor repairs. Because this model is often bought as a practical commuter, a clean, well-maintained example is usually the better long-term value.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,769 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.49% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 45.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,513, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,440 sits slightly above last year's $14,228.

That modest increase suggests the market still values this model year’s practicality and reputation. For a future seller, that kind of steady pricing can be helpful because it points to durable demand rather than a sharp drop-off. The Corolla’s broad appeal as a low-cost, easy-to-own compact car should continue to support buyer interest if your example is clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 45.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.49% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,978, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,440 average.
• It adds standard Safety Sense P and a more complete safety package.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, demand, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the better value path, especially if you find one with the added safety equipment in good condition.
