Used 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis for Sale near Texas

How much does the 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis cost?

There are 130 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis a good car?

With no expert test-drive score available for this model year, your best read comes from the market itself: pricing is steady, and there are enough listings to shop selectively without feeling rushed. That makes it a reasonable option if the configuration and condition match what you need.

The market also shows 29.2% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you compare carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis?

At 67.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm any reported damage lines up with the seller’s explanation and repair records. Put extra weight on a pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of frame, suspension, or bodywork issues. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, since the cleanest examples are likely to be the safest long-term buys.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market: there are enough listings to shop around, but the strongest values will likely go to buyers who move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 130 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,181, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis's resale value?

The current average of $29,648 sits slightly below last year's $29,813.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help you avoid buying into a sharply inflated price. If you keep the truck in strong condition and document maintenance well, you should be in a decent position when it’s time to sell. The steadier pricing also means future resale will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and configuration than on broad market swings.

Should I buy a 2018 RAM 3500 Chassis or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want a stable-price option with a decent number of listings to compare, the 2018 is a sensible starting point. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for the better deals and be willing to compare against nearby years to find the cleanest truck at the best price.
